Israel Adesanya, a UFC star who was born in Nigeria, has endorsed Anthony Joshua, a fellow citizen, ahead of Joshua’s IBF heavyweight title match against Daniel Dubois this Saturday at Wembley Stadium in England.
Adesanya, famed for his bold predictions and enthusiasm for sports betting, disclosed on Instagram that he has made a $10,000 wager on Joshua to win the highly anticipated bout.
The UFC champion posted a picture of his wager slip with the message, “ÒGÚN‼ This fight got beef…grab the #stake sauce,” expressing his belief that Joshua would prevail in rounds ten and twelve. If Joshua wins in that amount of time, Adesanya will receive an estimated $50,000 in compensation.

The much-anticipated championship bout is slated to take place at England’s Wembley Stadium on September 21, 2024.
96,000 spectators are expected to generate an electrifying atmosphere at the arena, which is known to Joshua but unfamiliar to Dubois, for the eagerly awaited all-British fight.
There will be extra strain on Dubois and his squad, led by trainer Don Charles, as this will be his first fight at England’s national stadium.
