The camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria is now bubbling with the arrival of ten invited players to the team’s camp in Marrakech, Morocco, ahead of the friendly games against Ghana and Mali.
The early arrivals for the double header friendly games against the two West African teams include Alex Iwobi (Fulham FC), Moses Simon (Nantes), Jamilu Collins (Cardiff City), Stanley Nwabali (Chippa United), and Bruno Onyemaechi (Boavista FC).
Other players who have arrived at the training camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the friendlies set to be played next week are Fisayo Dele-Bashiru (Hatayspor), Nathan Tella (Bayer Leverkusen), Cyriel Dessers (Rangers FC), Calvin Bassey (Fulham FC), and Semi Ajayi (West Brom).
Reports reveal that other invited players are expected to arrive at the training camp ahead of the games, with the team’s first training session expected to begin later today at 4.30 pm local time.
The team will be handled by ex-international Finidi George, who will take charge of the team in both games pending the appointment of a substantive coach by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The trio of Gabriel Osho (Luton Town), Tyronne Ebuehi (Empoli FC), and Victor Osimhen (Napoli FC) have all pulled out of playing both games due to injuries sustained.
