The meeting, scheduled for 11:00 a.m., will focus on the bank’s unaudited financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2025.

Mohammed Shehu, the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser at Jaiz Bank, formally notified stakeholders of the development on Monday, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

“Pursuant to the provisions of the Issuers’ Rules of Nigerian Exchange Limited (‘The Exchange’), NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Audit Committee of Jaiz Bank Plc (‘the Bank’) has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, 30th October 2025, at 11:00 am,” Shehu stated.

He explained that the committee would “consider the 3rd Quarter (Q3) Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS) of the Bank for the period ended 30th September 2025.”

In accordance with exchange regulations, the bank has implemented trading restrictions for insiders during the review period.

Shehu noted that “in compliance with the Provisions of Rule 17.18 (a): Closed Period Rulebook of the Exchange, 2015 (Issuers’ Rule) as amended, the Bank commenced closed period from Wednesday 1st October 2025 and this will remain until twenty-four (24) hours after the release of the Bank’s 2025 Q3 UFS to Nigerian Exchange Limited and by extension, the general public.”

The restrictions are comprehensive, with Shehu emphasising that “during the period, all insiders of the Bank and their connected persons are restricted from dealing in the Shares of the Bank.”
