Italian Serie A club Juventus has parted ways with head coach Igor Tudor following a disappointing run of results that culminated in a 1–0 defeat to Lazio on Sunday.

The Turin giants confirmed the decision in an official statement on Monday, noting that Massimiliano Brambilla, who currently manages the club’s men’s first-team setup, will take charge on an interim basis for Wednesday’s clash against Udinese.

“Juventus FC announces that it has today relieved Igor Tudor of his duties as head coach of the men’s first team, along with his staff consisting of Ivan Javorcic, Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci,” it said.

“The club thanks Igor Tudor and his entire staff for their professionalism and dedication over the past few months and wishes them all the best for their future careers.”

Tudor’s dismissal comes after Juventus collected only five points from their last five Serie A matches, a slump that has severely dented their top-four ambitions and sparked frustration among supporters.

The Croatian tactician, who took charge earlier this year, struggled to impose consistency despite flashes of attacking improvement in the side’s performances. The club is now expected to assess long-term managerial options in the coming weeks.
