Katsina youths celebrate as Governor Radda nominates 34-year-old as commissioner

Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, a 34-year-old man, is one of the commissioner nominees from Katsina state.

His nomination has sparked jubilation among young people in the northwest state who have been clamouring for inclusion by the political leaders. 

Jirdede was born on 31st December 1989 and hails from Maiadua Local Government of Katsina State. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English language from the prestigious Bayero University Kano. 

He currently serves as Operation Manager at Bestman Merchandize Nigeria Limited. 

Mustapha Shehu, monitoring and evaluation specialist, wrote: 

“Youths o’clock indeed!”

Jamiu Julius Adébáyò, a chemical engineer, wrote:

“Governor Radda is doing something spectacular in Katsina. I’m sure he’s gonna make Katsina great!”

Abdul EL-Rufa’i wrote:

“Youth inclusion.”

On his part, former presidential media aide Bashir Ahmad wrote: 

“Commendable! This reminds me that Governor of Taraba State also appointed a friend of mine, Joseph Joshua, who is 33 years old. Congratulations to both of them. And we will keep them in our prayers to deliver beyond expectations. Ameen!”
