Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho is set to play his first official game for Sevilla after the Spanish club registered the former Leicester City player to file out for the La Liga side.
Recall that last week, Iheanacho was forced to miss Sevilla’s season opener against rivals Las Palmas owing to the league’s strict financial regulations, when it was discovered that the club had neglected to register him for La Liga.
But after Argentina defender Marcos Acuna left the team for River Plate, Spanish journalist Gonzalo Tortosa claims that Sevilla has managed to go around La Liga’s regulations.
Iheanacho has declared that he hopes to achieve great things ahead of next season after signing the dotted lines for the seven-time Europa League Champions.

Kelechi, who joined Sevilla as a free agent added that he and his teammates have to give a hundred percent in every game to be at the top of the Spanish La Liga.
“I don’t have personal goals. I may have a goal for myself, but the most important thing is the team itself, my teammates,” he told the club’s official website.
