Flagbearer of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso rubbished the efforts of the Labour Party (LP) ahead of the general elections.
Speaking at Chatham House on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, the former Kano state governor revealed he refused to merge with Peter Obi’s Labour Party stating that they are like “Andrews Liver Salt”.
Kwankwaso used the term in expressing that the Labour Party who are on the rise will fall down all of a sudden, as reported on Channels TV.

Speaking at Chatham House in the United Kingdom, Kwankwaso said:
“Our party (NNPP) is the only grown party in Nigeria today… to us (Labour Party), is like “Andrews Liver Salt” just came (all of a sudden) keeps rising and now it’s coming down. That’s the reality, take note of it.”
Meanwhile, Presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party Peter Obi has promised to restore the lost glory of the green passport of Nigeria.
The former Anambra state governor said at the Chatham House that Nigerians who are leaving the country for a better life will come back when the passport becomes the pride of the citizens.
