Lafarge Africa’s Profit Before Tax Hits N411.3 billion to Cross N1trn Revenue Mark in 2025

One of Nigeria’s top cement manufacturers, Lafarge Africa Plc, has posted revenue crossing the ₦1 trillion mark, including a 170% increase in Profit Before Tax (PBT) to ₦411.3 billion from ₦152.5 billion recorded in 2024, news.ng reports.

According to the financial statements, the cement manufacturer recorded net sales of ₦1.066 trillion in 2025, an improvement of 53% from ₦696.8 billion in 2024.

Lafarge Africa’s operating profit rose significantly by 103% to ₦392.1 billion from ₦193 billion in 2024, while the operating margin expanded to 37% from 28% in 2024.

Profit After Tax (PAT) witnessed a percentage increase of 173% to ₦273.1 billion, as against ₦100.1 billion in 2024. Also, Earnings Per Share (EPS) increased by 173% to ₦16.96 per share from the previous ₦6.22 per share.

In its fourth-quarter performance (Q4 2025), net sales increased by 32% to ₦285.8 billion from ₦217.3 billion recorded in the same period of 2024, while the operating margin for the same period improved to 33% from 29% in 2024.

Commenting on the performance, the Chief Executive Officer, Lolu Alade-Akinyemi, said, “Full Year 2025 results are a testament to the effectiveness of our 4-point strategy, disciplined execution, and relentless focus on value creation.

“Reaching the ₦1 trillion Net Sales threshold, a 53% year-on-year increase, marks a historic turning point for our Company. With a 103% surge in Operating Profit to ₦392 billion and margins widening to 37%, we have demonstrated exceptional operating excellence. This 173% growth in Profit After Tax is the direct result of our focus on plant reliability, operational efficiency, and commitment to shareholder value.”
