Lagos debunks abolishing all Eze Ndigbo titles after leader threatens to Invite IPOB, calls it April fool prank

The reports going round on social media that it has abolished all Eze Ndigbo titles in Lagos have been refuted by the state government.

It has been described as an “April fool” prank marking the first day of the month of April.

Eze Ndigbo was arrested after a video he released calling for an invasion of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) into Lagos to protect Igbo properties

IPOB has been regarded as a terrorist group in Nigeria after being proscribed by a court.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos state Gbenga Omotoso, debunked the reports, stating that they were false and should be ignored “now”, as reported by the Vanguard.
