Popular disc jockey Obianuju Catherine Udeh, professionally known as DJ Switch, has criticised the All-Progressives Congress (APC) over the mistreatment of Igbos in Lagos state during elections.
In a Tweet on Saturday, March 18, the musician questioned why among many other tribes resident in Lagos State, the Igbo were picked and subjected to rejection, abuse and threats during elections.
DJ Switch stated that the way Igbos are treated in Lagos is a shame to Nigeria and the police.
I am really sorry to my Igbo brothers and sisters! Truly. You are not the only tribe in the SW but how you’ve all been demonized is so heartbreaking. APC is a shame, Nigerian police shame, Nigeria is a shame. Shame… shame! Stand strong everyone… stand strong.”
