Nollywood’s actress Omoni Oboli arrived at her polling unit around 6.30 am on Saturday, March 18, to vote in the Lagos state governorship election.
In a video on her Instagram page, the filmmaker was seen with popular media personality IK Oskioduwa at her polling unit.
Both celebrities urged Nigerians not to feel intimidated by coming out to vote in the elections. They assured citizens that everything at their polling unit is organised.

Omoni Oboli wrote:
“It’s 6:30am and we are already at our polling station. Fully organized and ready! Please get ready and go out. It’s your right and responsibility to chose your leaders. Please get ready and come out ❤️ God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬💚#NigeriaDecides2023.”
In another news, Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has criticised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its handling of the ongoing 2023 general elections.
The singer, in a tweet, described the electoral body as the most irresponsible organization in the country.
He wrote:
“Nah! INEC is the most irresponsible organization.”
His fans took to his comment section to agree with his opinion about the commission.
