Luxury carmaker Lamborghini is making a bold leap into the world of Web3 by introducing its iconic vehicles into blockchain-based gaming.
In a partnership with Animoca Brands, Lamborghini will launch its first digital cars that can be bought, sold, and driven across various Web3 games, creating new experiences for fans and gamers alike.
On October 2, Lamborghini announced the collaboration with Animoca, unveiling a platform called “Fast ForWorld,” where users can access digital Lamborghini cars for use in a wide range of Web3 games.
The project marks Lamborghini’s first foray into blockchain interoperability, a move that allows its digital cars to seamlessly function across multiple virtual environments, including Animoca’s Motorverse ecosystem.
Fast ForWorld, set to launch on November 7, will offer a proprietary gaming experience, alongside integrations with Motorverse games like Torque Drift 2 and REVV Racing.
Gamers will also have access to a 3D wallet to store and interact with their digital collectables, adding a new dimension to how Lamborghini enthusiasts engage with the brand.
This partnership highlights the growing convergence between luxury brands and Web3 technology. According to Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, Lamborghini’s decision to embrace Web3 gaming reflects the increasing demand for immersive and interoperable digital experiences.
“Lamborghini collectibles will be accessible and playable across various virtual environments, creating a truly interconnected Web3 experience for motorsports fans,” Siu said.
