“We won the Europa League, the project was great but I wanted to return in Italy, unfortunately,” Sarri told Sky Sport.
The coach, who became the oldest manager to ever win the Serie A in 2019 while coaching Juventus, also spoke about his failed move to become the manager of Sevilla.
He said; “I had contact with Sevilla but our plans were different, so talks have collapsed”.
“I want to return as soon as possible. It’s difficult now, I only have solutions from abroad but it’s difficult for me to accept that”.
