Premier League giants Liverpool Football Club on Thursday announced that they have agreed to sign Victor Munoz from Osasuna, News.ng reports.
They made the announcement via their official website.
According to the statement, the transfer is subject to the completion of a work permit application and international clearance.
This will be Liverpool’s first signing ahead of the 2026–27 season.
The club noted that Munoz will link up with his teammates following the end of the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Canada, and the US.
The club stated, “Liverpool FC has agreed a deal to sign Victor Munoz from Osasuna, subject to a successful work permit application and international clearance.”
“The forward, who is currently on World Cup duty with Spain, completed a medical at the country’s base in Tennessee in the USA and has put pen to paper on a long-term contract.
“Munoz is the first new addition since the arrival of head coach Andoni Iraola and will link up with his new teammates later this summer after his participation in the tournament with his national team has concluded.
“The 22-year-old has two caps for Spain and marked his debut against Serbia in March with a goal.”
