Top-flight English Premier League (EPL) club Liverpool is showing interest in securing the capture of talented Atalanta and Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman.
The interest shown by Liverpool was made known in a report by CalcioMercato, who claimed that Liverpool is among a host of EPL sides including Man U and Chelsea that are interested in the player.
In 45 games for Atalanta in the 2023–24 season, Lookman scored 17 goals and added 10 assists, including a thrilling hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final.
In a related development, Bayern Munich coached by Vincent Kompany is reportedly eyeing a move for Lookman ahead of next season.

This much was revealed according to Sky Sports transfer expert, Florian Plettenberg, who informed that Bayern Munich has discussed internally about signing the player.
Plettenberg noted that a summer transfer is possible but Lookman only wants to join a top club with the price valuation of the 26-year-old player said to be around €25-30 million.
“Lookman A transfer in summer is possible but the 26 y/o striker only wants to join a top club,” Plettenberg wrote on X.
“Understand his price valuation is around €25-30m. Contract with @Atalanta_BC valid until 2026.
“Bayern have discussed Lookman in recent weeks but so far, it has never been concrete.” He added.
