This comes days after Atalanta coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, declared that Nigerian striker Ademola Lookman has written a history that will last forever.
Gasperini was speaking against the backdrop of Lookman’s impressive hat-trick, which he scored against Bayer Leverkusen during the Europa League Cup final.
The coach said that it is not about the three goals Lookman scored in the Europa League final but how he took his chances in the one-sided game.
He noted that the coaching staff at Atalanta had seen the qualities in Lookman when he was at Leicester City, although he did not score too many goals at first.
