Manchester United has announced the signing of Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško, pending final registration.
According to a statement on the club’s website Saturday morning, the 22-year-old has inked a deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2030.
Šeško, who has emerged as one of Europe’s brightest young talents, topped the goal-scoring charts for players under 23 in Europe’s top five leagues over the past two seasons, the club noted.
During his most recent campaign with RB Leipzig, he netted an impressive 21 goals and provided six assists, showcasing his clinical finishing and creative flair, the club added.
According to the club, on the international stage, Šeško has already earned 41 caps for Slovenia, scoring 16 goals since making his debut in 2021 as the nation’s youngest-ever senior international.
