English Premier League (EPL) side Manchester United have agreed to pay the €10 million exit clause to acquire the services of Ruben Amorin from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon.
This was made known in a post shared on the X page (formerly Twitter) of transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano who disclosed that Sporting Lisbon has confirmed Manchester United’s intention to appoint Ruben Amorin as new coach.
Romano disclosed that Ruben Amorin has agreed to become the next coach of Manchester United following the recent sacking of Dutch manager Eric Ten Hag.

‘‘Sporting confirms formal communication received from #MUFC for Amorim to be appointed.
‘‘Amorim has already said yes to Man Utd proposal and project.’’ Romano wrote on his X page.
Romano also disclosed that Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon have been in direct contact for about a 30-day notice period for Rúben Amorim as both clubs work to reach an agreement.
