The coach of Nigeria’s U-17 national team nicknamed Golden Eaglets, has charged his wards to get the needed result against Group B opponents Togo to qualify for the semifinals of the ongoing WAFU B Tournament taking place in Ghana.
Garba, who was speaking ahead of the last group game against Togo, said that his team will do all they can to beat their opponents on Wednesday in Accra, Ghana.
He said that his boys will not underestimate the Togolese U-17 team, which he says is a good side but they will do the needful to convert their chances during the game to ensure they win.
“We will have to beat Togo on Wednesday. They are a good side and we will not underrate them,” Garba said.

“We have trained the players on goal-scoring drills. Nigeria should have scored three goals against Niger. So, we hope that the players will convert their chances against Togo.” He added.
Recall that in their last match against Niger, the Golden Eaglets had to toil for victory in the game when the team was reduced to ten men after Chibuike Okorie was sent off in the 63rd minute of the second half.
But despite the red card and being reduced to 10 men, the team showed composure to score the game’s only goal when Rapha Adams converted his chance in the 31st minute.
