Under-fire coach Mauricio Pochettino has responded to questions about his future as Chelsea manager after enduring a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea defeated Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night thanks to a fantastic performance, but immediately the focus is on Sunday when West Ham United come calling.
The head coach of the Blues is now better positioned to finish the second year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, but he is still waiting for guarantees that he will continue to lead the London team past the final four games of this season.
When asked if he fears for his future, Pochettino, who began his managerial career at Espanyol in 2009, said that he needs to judge himself and all the players given all the circumstances.

He said: “If I feel I am under scrutiny, it is (for all of us) to prove, after all these circumstances, that we deserve to be here next season. I say, ‘Who is going to judge me?’ But I need to judge myself and all the players with all the circumstances.
“And I want to say that it is enough with these types of rumours. If I have one more year on my contract here and no one says nothing, I suppose that I am going to be here.
“Maybe we finish the season and someone says to me ‘ciao’, because we don’t know at the moment, but I suppose I have one more year on my contract and that I am going to be here. Enough about the stupid rumours; you need to ask the club if they want me to keep going or not.” The coach added.
