Boxing legends Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. and Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao are reportedly in discussions for a blockbuster rematch slated for 2026.
According to Inside The Ring, negotiations are underway for the fight to be part of Netflix’s growing lineup of boxing events.
Mayweather and Pacquiao last faced off in May 2015 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in the much-hyped “Fight of the Century,” where Mayweather earned a unanimous decision to unify the world welterweight titles.
Mayweather, 48, last appeared in the ring in an exhibition bout against John Gotti III in August 2024. His final professional fight was in August 2017, when he defeated UFC star Conor McGregor.
If finalized, the Mayweather–Pacquiao rematch would mark one of the most high-profile returns in modern boxing. Beyond rekindling one of the sport’s greatest rivalries, the event could further cement Netflix’s growing influence in live sports entertainment.
For fans of boxing, it represents both nostalgia and spectacle—a chance to witness two icons test their legacies one more time under the global streaming spotlight.
