Mikel Arteta, the coach of the English Premier League (EPL) club, Arsenal has talked about the possibility of signing new players to beef up his team before the transfer window closes next week.
The coach who disclosed this in a chat with football and video games writer Chris Davidson noted that Arsenal is a bit short in some areas and they may strengthen.
According to him, Arsenal needs good availability from every member of the team as they do not have the luxury of 23 players which every team should have.
“We are a little bit short, if we can do something we will do it”.

“We need good availability from everybody, we don’t have 23 outfield players and normally you have to be equipped like that,” he said via @cdavison_afc
Arteta also shared an update on the injury status of Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus who suffered an injury moments before Saturday’s EPL game against Aston Villa.
He said; “Unfortunately he felt something in his groin”.
“We need to assess him, we need an MRI scan to see”.
“We will have the results and see if it is a matter of days or weeks”.
