Negotiations between top-flight German club Bayern Munich and English Premier League (EPL) Fulham for Portuguese player João Palhinha are still ongoing.
This update was made known in a post shared on X by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who informed that the deal to sign the player is advancing despite an initial gap in valuation.
According to the journalist, Palhinha hopes Fulham allows him to join Bayern after personal terms were agreed with the player who is currently representing his nation team at EURO 2024.

‘‘Palhinha hopes for Fulham to let him join Bayern after personal terms agreed + being committed & professional despite Deadline Day move collapsed last summer.’’ Romano wrote on X.
If all goes according to plan, Palhinha will become the first signing of new Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany, who is seeking to bolster his team.
Reports say Bayern have reached an agreement on personal terms with Palhinha, with a basic salary agreed for the player who wants to make the move to Germany.
Club-to-club talks are ongoing with a transfer fee of around €45 million for the talented player, whom Kompany believes will be a good addition to his team.
