The TON Community has launched Adsgram, a new platform on Telegram that enables developers to monetize their mini-apps by displaying advertisements and earning Toncoin (TON).
This innovative tool offers an alternative to Telegram’s existing ad platform, specifically designed for channel owners.
Adsgram lets developers integrate their mini-apps or bots into an advertising system, offering a range of ad formats such as 15-second video ads, static banners and channel subscriptions.
It supports various ad payment models, including cost per thousand impressions (CPM) and tracks metrics like click-through rate and conversions.
Developers can earn between 0.5 TON ($3.80) and 2 TON ($16) per CPM, depending on their audience.
Since its early testing phase in April, Adsgram has gained significant traction.
By May 2024, the platform recorded up to 8 million impressions per day.
Popular mini-apps like Gamee and Fanton Fantasy Football are already part of Adsgram’s network, drawing traffic from countries such as Nigeria, Bangladesh and Germany.
Adsgram co-founder Vadim Sterlin highlighted the platform’s potential to solve monetization challenges in the GameFi sector on Telegram.
Previously, developers like Sterlin struggled to generate ad revenue, relying instead on direct ad sales.
Adsgram’s introduction marks a significant shift, providing a structured way for developers to earn from their creations.
Adsgram received a $50,000 grant from the TON Foundation to develop its minimum viable product.
The launch coincides with a surge in activity within the TON ecosystem, which has seen a 4,500% increase in total value locked across various projects in 2024.
Toncoin, TON’s native cryptocurrency, also hit new highs, peaking at $8.17 on June 14.
