The Federal Government plans to be part of the BRICKS Nations community, Nigeria expressed their interest following an annual BRICKS conference.
The Bricks Nation is an international community consisting of six countries.
In the 2023 conference, Argentina reportedly rejected the invitation of the community to be part of its members. This was part of the group’s efforts to include more countries.

As the greatest economy in Africa, the Tinubu-led government also plans to join other international communities like the G20 among others.
Tinubu’s government says it wants to be involved in decision-making in international organizations by broadening its foreign policy.
FG reiterated that Nigeria needed to be part of such organizations and communities owning to its large economic size.
