The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) has partnered with Dotmount Communications to co-host the upcoming Middle East Investors Summit and Expo.
Scheduled to take place on July 4-5, 2024, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, the event promises to showcase Nigeria and Africa’s vast investment opportunities to a global audience, particularly investors from the Middle East.
Aisha Rimi, the Executive Secretary of NIPC, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Dotmount Communications to bring this prestigious event to Nigeria.
“The Middle East Investors Summit and Expo presents a unique opportunity for Nigerian and African businesses to connect with investors from the Middle East and globally, driving economic growth and development.”
According to her, the expo will feature an extensive range of exhibitions, providing a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services.
“This will facilitate business-to-business (B2B) meetings and potential investment deals,” she noted.
By highlighting Nigeria and Africa as attractive investment destinations, the event aims to draw significant foreign investment, stimulate job creation, and promote infrastructure development.
It also builds on the previously announced $90 billion investment partnership between the Al Amari Group of Bahrain and Dotmount Communications.
She further stated that the summit will feature keynote speeches from top investors, business leaders, and policymakers, alongside panel discussions addressing various investment opportunities and challenges.
Under the theme “Driving Economic Growth through Trade and Investment,” the conference will also showcase the untapped potential of the region, offering valuable insights and networking opportunities for participants.
“Over 700 high-profile investors, business executives, and government representatives are expected to attend.
“The event has already garnered significant interest, with numerous partners confirming their support.
“The conference will highlight investment projects, success stories, and innovative solutions, demonstrating the potential for mutual growth and cooperation between the Middle East and Africa.
“The expo will provide a platform for exhibitors to showcase their products and services, facilitate B2B meetings and investment deals, and promote Nigeria and Africa as attractive investment destinations,” Rimi added.
