A man alleged to be a Nigerian lecturer has been videoed in a bank with a Ghana-must-go bag to withdraw his 8-month salary.

The unidentified man, who was dressed in a white shirt, was captured in the Tiktok video holding the bag on his right shoulder.

The clip was accompanied by a voice-over stating:

“He came to withdraw eight months’ salary arrears.”

The footage also panned to show other people waiting in the banking hall, but the bank’s name was not stated.

However, at press time News.ng could not independently verify if the video was authentic.

Recall that universities across the country have been shut for about eight months due to the industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

During the period of the strike, the Nigerian government invoked a no-work, no-pay clause, which means the lecturers did not receive salaries while the industrial action lasted.
