Business activities at a Nigerian bank were temporarily interrupted after a customer created a scene when protesting the alleged disappearance of N1.5 million from his account.

The man who stripped to his singlet also climbed the counter to register his grievance while staff pleaded with him to exercise patience.

But the man, frustrated by the situation, refused to be calm as he sat on the counter.

The video which captured the incident has been creating a buzz on Instagram as other bank users justified the man’s action.

“Of course, he had to create a scene now! The movie started in his account, the scene he saw in his bank account necessitated a follow-up scene at the banking hall,” Harryardayfio stated.

Another user, og_beautyempiremakeover, said: “This banks should do better. How can 1.5 million vanish from his acct? They should add more security to accounts where a message is sent to the account holder to confirm transaction of a certain amount.”

Davayking said: “Nah Wetin I suppose do FirstBank be this, dem never return my 1400.”

However, News.ng could not indecently verify the claims of the aggrieved customer in the video.
