Nigerian singer Davido to perform at the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar

 After weeks of keeping a low profile following the death of his son, Nigerian singer, Davido is billed to perform at the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar.

GoldmyneTV reports that Davido’s scheduled performance was confirmed by Hong Kong billionaire, Stephen Hung.

The news is a welcomed development for the fans of the singer, who have been eager to see him perform again.

Davido and his lover, Chioma Rowland, have reportedly been residing at his father’s residence in the Lekki area of Lagos from friends since the tragic incident occurred.

Meanwhile, Nigerian rapper MI Abaga has praised fans of Afro-hip singer Davido for organising a concert on his behalf.

MI, in a tweet, said the fans, popularly known as 30BG, showed pure expression of love for Davido by organising the show.

The rapper stated Davido is a kind soul who deserves all the love he is getting from his fans.

In another news, singer, Peruzzi, has updated the public on how Davido is coping with the loss of his son, Ifeanyi.

The Peruzzi, a close friend of the singer, said Davido is trying and doing better.

He made the statement in an Instagram Live session with an unnamed personality.
