The Nigerian Metrological Agency [NIMET] has released a predicted weather report of haze occurrences in the North from Sunday through Tuesday nationwide.
The reports were made yesterday in Abuja by Nimet which explained possible haze and cloudy weather in North Central Nigeria, it further called on airports in the North to stay updated with weather reports for effective runnings of its activities.
Inclusively the Agency reported that the southern areas will be experiencing sunny skies while others will be experiencing minor thunderstorms early morning and evening times respectively.
NIMET also reported that the coastal regions as well as the inland state in the south will experience intervals of sunshine during morning hours.
It predicted that North Central Nigeria and Northern Nigeria would experience sunny skies and haze-filled weather.
The agency further called on people with respiratory problems to avoid such weather as dust particles will be in suspension which can worsen respiratory conditions.
NiMet also reported that strong winds are likely to follow the localized thunderstorms in the south and therefore everyone should be careful of such environments.
The agency called on Disaster risk Managers to be up and ready to carry out their duties in case of an accident due to the weather.
