English Premier League (EPL) side Nottingham Forest FC have decided to activate an option to extend the contract of Super Eagles defender Ola Aina until 2025.
This development was made known in a post shared on the official X handle (formerly Twitter) of respected Italian journalist and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
‘‘Willy Boly signs new one-year contract with Nottingham Forest with club option for second year, potentially valid until June 2026.

‘‘Ola Aina’s option to extend contract until June 2025, also activated.’’ Romano wrote on X.
The 27-year-old defender, who joined the squad last summer on a free transfer, originally signed a one-year contract, but his outstanding play has earned him an additional year at the City Ground.
The versatile and defensively adept Aina has made an impact on the field. Despite being a defensive player, he has scored once in 13 league games for the Tricky Trees, demonstrating his versatility.
