Veteran Nigerian Fuji star, Abass Akande Obesere has taken to his official social media account to reveal how he survived a recent surgery that almost took his life.
The energetic musician who is fondly referred to as ‘African Michael Jackson’ by his fans took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself on a hospital bed with an oxygen pipe in his nose.
In the caption of his post on Instagram, Obesere revealed that he had just undergone surgery that almost took his life but escaped death just by the whiskers.
The Fuji maestro who survived a ghastly car accident in 2012 on his way to Lagos also used the medium to express gratitude to God for coming out of the experience alive.
He wrote “Alhamdulillah…The Almighty Allah has been merciful to me. I escaped a surgery that almost took my life but Allah said NO!”
Soon after the singer shared a photo on Instagram, well-wishers, celebrities, and fans remarked on the post, wishing the musician a quick and full recovery following his successful operation.
