After weeks of beta testing, the Opera web browser is now releasing its sleek new Opera One version for Apple iOS.
Opera announced the launch of the new Opera One web browser for iOS on Tuesday in a press statement that was issued to Lifewire.
Opera refers to the new browser as a “flagship product” since it features fully-enabled Aria AI, which can generate text and code, offer AI chat, and deliver current online results and information retrieval.
This also contains voice input capabilities and the ability to create graphics using Google’s Imagen2 image generator.
A redesigned design of the latest edition includes a gesture-based navigation system.
The search bar is located at the bottom of the screen for convenience and offers instantaneous search recommendations as you type.
Newsng gathered that the website lists rapid search suggestions as you write, a bottom-positioned search bar for easy browsing, and the inclusion of Aria AI assistant as an extra feature of this stable release.
Additionally, a new swipe-to-search gesture has been added that enables users to simply slide down to activate the search bar, much like when they use Spotlight to look for apps from the iPhone’s Home Screen.
Users can select the Standard Navigation or Fast Action Button style instead of the usual positioned search bar.
The company added that it has also made minor adjustments to the browser’s look.
The browser will conceal the top and bottom bars to allow you a full-screen view while you navigate across a page.
Also, a site’s theme will be reflected in the colour of the top status bar.
Opera is also updating its outdated newsfeed with a new carousel display that will feature product recommendations, real-time score updates, and personalised content.
We earlier reported browser maker, Mozilla, will be evaluating the integration of AI into the Firefox browser through the most recent Nightly build.
