Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen was unstoppable once again, scoring twice as Galatasaray powered past Bodø/Glimt 3–1 on Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

The in-form Super Eagles striker, who joined the Turkish giants in stunning form, wasted no time—opening the scoring just three minutes into the game after a perfectly timed run onto a Mario Lemina through ball, finishing with his trademark composure into the far corner.

Osimhen doubled Galatasaray’s lead in the 33rd minute, capitalizing on a defensive blunder from a Bodø/Glimt player. The Nigerian coolly rounded the goalkeeper and tapped into an empty net to make it 2–0, sending the home fans wild in Istanbul.

The brace means Osimhen now has three goals in two Champions League matches this season and has made history as the first Galatasaray player to score in seven consecutive European games.

Even more impressively, his opening strike was the earliest goal in Galatasaray’s Champions League history, underlining his status as one of the continent’s most lethal forwards.

Bodø/Glimt pulled one back in the second half, but Galatasaray sealed the victory late on with a third goal to stay firmly in the qualification race for the knockout stages.

Osimhen’s red-hot form continues to make headlines across Europe, and with performances like this, the 24-year-old Nigerian is proving why he remains one of the most feared strikers in world football.
