Prominent Italian pundit Giovanni Scotto has disclosed that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen will join French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain this summer from Napoli.
Scotto, who disclosed this in a chat with CalcioNapoli said that Osimhen will move to PSG despite strong interest from English Premier League sides including Chelsea and Arsenal.
He also added that the French club is in a favourable position to land the services of the talented striker, as they expect him to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is Madrid-bound.
“De Laurentiis was reassured: Osimhen’s 120 million will come, I believe, from Paris Saint Germain,” Scotto told CalcioNapoli, via Area Napoli.
“This money will compensate for the lost Champions League revenues and partially those from the Club World Cup.”

Scotto’s comments come weeks after Italian agent Roberto De Fanti revealed the keen interest shown by Manchester United in signing the Napoli FC hitman next summer.
In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, De Fanti opened up about Manchester United’s interest in Osimhen, stating that he is still the standard No. 9 that the team is itching to sign.
According to him, Rasmus Hojlund is doing reasonably well for Manchester United, but Osimhen is the ideal striker they want to lead the team next season in the Premier League.
He said, “I could say everyone, but the truth is that United, above all, are looking for a centre forward.
“[Rasmus] Hojlund is doing reasonably well, but the classic number No. 9—the [Erling] Haaland of the situation—could be Osimhen.”
