French winger Ousmane Dembélé expected to return to the PSG group after apologising to coach Luiz Enrique following a spat that saw him banished from the first team.
Recall that the player was reportedly at odds with manager Luis Enrique, which led to his exclusion from Paris Saint-Germain’s team for their UEFA Champions League match against Arsenal.
After coming off the bench in PSG’s 3-1 victory against Rennes, Dembele was deemed “not ready to play” by Enrique unless he “complies or respects the expectations of the team”.
“If someone doesn’t comply or respect the expectations of the team, it means they are not prepared to play,” the Spaniard said before PSG’s UCL game against Arsenal.

However, the player seems to have complied with the instructions of the coach and is expected to return to the fold for PSG’s forthcoming Ligue 1 game this weekend.
This update was made known by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano who disclosed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the player is expected to return to the PSG group against OGC Nice.
‘‘Ousmane Dembélé, is expected to return to the PSG group already against OGC Nice on Sunday.
‘‘Dembélé apologized to Luis Enrique as the Spanish manager wanted and requested, the situation is fully expected to return to normality shortly.’’ Romano wrote on his X page.
