Super Falcons player Antionette Oyedupe “Toni” Payne is upbeat that the female national team of Nigeria can get a good result against Brazil at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Toni Payne speaking ahead of the game against Brazil in Group C on July 25 inside the Stade de Bordeaux said that the Super Falcons are on the same level as their opponents.
“Brazil will be a tough team, they are very talented but as Nigeria, we are at the level so it’s going to be a good match and I think we can get a good result against them,” Payne told NFF TV.

The professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga F club Sevilla is delighted to be with the rest of the team in training camp as they prepare for the Olympic games.
“The training camp is going really well. I feel comfortable here. It’s a bit hot but I think this is the perfect place to get ready for the Olympics.“
On the chance to compete at another major tournament for Nigeria, Payne who joined Sevilla on a one-year contract, which was extended for two further years in 2019, said it is a good opportunity.
She said: “Being able to compete on the world stage again with this team is such a really good opportunity I’m excited.”
