Super Falcons and Bay FC player Asisat Oshoala has expressed confidence that the Nigerian female national team can do well in the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.
Oshoala who vouched for her team in a recent interview stated that she is upbeat that the Super Falcons can make things difficult for their opponents when hostilities begin.
The soccer star who moved to Bay FC from Spanish club Barcelona on February 1, 2024, also noted that she is not just thinking about getting out of their group but going home with a medal.
“I have a lot of confidence in this team. We have many young players and we can make things difficult for our opponents,” Oshoala was quoted by fifa.com.

“We don’t just think about getting out of the group, I think we can walk away with a medal.”
On Thursday, July 25, the Super Falcons will meet Brazil in their opening game of the 2024 Olympic Games at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique in Bordeaux, France.
They will face world champions Spain three days later at the Stade de la Beujoire in Nantes, followed by a group-stage match against Japan on Wednesday, July 31.
