This message is said to address a series of region-specific concerns, including prolonged migration delays, potential security breaches involving number-swiping scams, and general reminders about wallet protection.
The video also makes it clear that the PiCoreTeam has not authorised any individual or third party to act on its behalf. Users are strongly advised to rely solely on official communication channels for accurate updates and assistance.
The move signals the team’s ongoing commitment to enhancing safety and transparency, especially in markets like China, where migration-related complications have been especially persistent.
Beyond China, Pi users worldwide have been reporting a slew of technical issues following the rollout of app version 1.41.0 on May 9, 2025. While the update was intended to address minor bugs, many users hesitated to install it, which has led to missing balance displays and recurring 2FA login errors.
Adding to the frustration is the unresolved issue of coin migration delays. A growing number of users have remained stuck at Step 9 of the migration process for months, despite completing required steps like KYC and setting lock-up terms.
