Controversial musician Portable has beat up Manny Monie, a singer registered under his Zeh Nation record label, for allegedly using the services of music distributors.
A clip uploaded on Twitter showed Portable slapping and kicking the artist for allegedly double-crossing him after signing a contract.
Portable, in the clip, recounted how he spent money on the signee by buying clothes and phones and promoting him.
He questioned why Manny betrayed him despite all the help he received from the Zeh Nation record label.
Portable also accuse the upcoming singer of being a scammer.
He said
“If you want to do music, do music, if you want to do scams, do scams. These boys are scams.”
Meanwhile, employees working in the Zeh Nation studio have been sacked by their boss, Portable, for generating just seven thousand naira for over a month
The singer disclosed in an Instagram video that he was away from his studio during the period only to return and get a small sum from his employees.
He accused them of embezzling the funds in his absence. The musician questioned how a studio that generates about N15 million in five days could make just seven thousand naira in a month and two weeks.
