Famous comedian Basketmouth has sparked marriage rumours after he was pictured with a lady in a wedding dress.
In a post via his Instagram handle, the comedian was seen posing in several photos with the lady he identified as Stella.
He wrote:
“I have a BIG announcement to make #BrightWedsStella #BS2022.”
However, checks by News.ng indicated that the photo shoot was an advert for Stellas, a digital bank.

But some Nigerians who were unaware of the commercial accused the actor of abandoning his wife for another woman.

In another news, Elsie Okpocha, the estranged wife of Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, has advised women against rushing into marriage when they are not ready.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, she urged Nigerians to stop pressuring women to get married early.
She argued that when a woman is not married, she’s probably taking her time or has not found the right person yet.
