Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid is reportedly preparing a €100 million offer to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray, according to Fichajes.
The move is part of a plan to allow Kylian Mbappé to return to his preferred left-wing role while giving Madrid a dedicated goal scorer capable of leading the attack. Club management views Osimhen as a “pure striker” with the physical presence, finishing ability, and goal-scoring instincts that align with their offensive philosophy.
Since joining Galatasaray, the 25-year-old has consistently impressed, becoming a central figure in their attack. His performances, coupled with a rising media profile and a favourable contractual situation, have renewed Madrid’s interest, making him a top priority for the coming season.
The main hurdle remains Galatasaray, who invested €75 million to sign Osimhen from Napoli and are expected to demand a fee that reflects his impact on the pitch.
A successful transfer would allow Mbappé more freedom on the wing, provide Madrid with a lethal attacking option in the box, and mark one of the most high-profile African transfers in recent years.
