Regency Alliance Insurance Plc has set a Profit After Tax (PAT) target of N687.54 million for the second quarter of 2026 (Q2 2026), news.ng reports.

In its financial forecast published on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) website on Monday, insurance revenue is expected to hit N5.52 billion within the stated period of 2026.

However, the stated figure will be reduced by the company’s operating costs — insurance service expenses of N2.58 billion, including net expenses from reinsurance contracts of N2.48 billion.

After these costs, N452.53 million is expected from insurance services, which will be derived from the firm’s core underwriting profit.

According to the forecast, the company is projected to make N607.05 million from other income, adding support to the earnings.

On expenses, administrative expenses are projected at N312.24 million, reducing the weight on operating income. Notwithstanding this, the insurer has pegged operating income at N747.33 million, with a projected tax charge of N59.79 million, and expects to close Q2 2026 with a PAT of ₦687.54 million.

Regency Alliance Insurance is also taking a bold step in its operating cash flow, which is expected to reach N257.37 million, with net cash realised from operating activities at N75.99 million.

An estimated N238.02 million is expected from financing activities, while investment in other activities is projected at N155.46 million.

The insurance firm has projected an increase in cash and cash equivalents totalling N469.48 million in Q2 2026.

Lastly, cash and bank balances are expected to rise to N1.97 billion at the end of the second quarter, up from N1.50 billion.
