Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has marked his 4th anniversary in the music industry.
Rema took the music industry by storm after releasing his hit single Dumebi following his contract with Jonzing World, an offshoot of Mavin Records in 2019.
Since then, the singer has been releasing hit tracks steadily.
To celebrate his achievement, Rema took to his social media timeline to share new pictures and appreciate his fans.
“4 years in the game, so many records to my name, catalogue insane, thanks for sticking w my crazy as now let’s go AGAIN!.”
His post was greeted with congratulations from celebrities and fans.
Meanwhile, Rema has disclosed that he abandoned his admission at the University of Lagos due to the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ 8-month strike (ASUU).
He made the statement during an interview on Kiss FM radio. The musician said he had quit school and moved on.
Rema disclosed that he planned to do part-time schooling and music, but the strike ruined his plans.
Despite her early opposition, he said his mother now supports his choice to concentrate on music.
