A one-time winner of the Big Brother Naija show, Mercy Eke, has described herself as a rich person who does not need to make noise about her wealth.
The socialite made the statement after a fan commended her for not flaunting wealth on social media like other celebrities.
The social media user called her a blessing for being modest about her achievements online.
He said ”The fact u don’t even show off but only show up omo nne u are a blessing”
In response, Mercy said rich people do not flaunt their wealth, noting that only empty vessels do such.
“Rich people don’t loud sh*t, we see and feel it, empty vessel makes the loudest noise, the Big Brother Naija 2019 winner said.
In another news, Mercy Eke, has reacted to claims that she is in a romantic affair with a celebrity car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD.
In a tearful video posted on social media, Mercy said the rumour linking her with IVD, who recently lost his wife in death, was false.
She described the rumour of a romantic affair with IVD as an attempt to tarnish her image.
