Ousted Xavi Hernandez, the outgoing coach of Barcelona FC, has sent a warning message to the next coach of the club about the real situation of things in Camp Nou.

Xavi spoke to the media after signing off with a win against Sevilla and stated that he wants the next coach to understand that Barcelona is in a difficult situation at the moment.

The coach said that the next Barca coach will have to work hard because it is not easy and he will suffer but should be patient because it is a very complicated position.

Xavi said; “Make him understand that it is a difficult situation, Barça is already difficult but the situation is even more”.

“He will have to work hard because it is not easy.”

“I would like to tell the new coach that he will suffer and that he should be patient; it’s a very complicated position.’

“The only thing that will save the new coach is winning”. The coach noted.

However, Xavi said that he has not closed the door on returning to Barcelona FC one day, as it would be another honour to return to the club of his life one day.

He said,; “It would be another honour to return to the club of my life one day… we will see”.

“The fans must understand that the economic situation is difficult. I am leaving with the love of the fans and that fills me with pride.”

Recall that Xavi was directly informed about his sack last Friday by Barcelona president Joan Laporta, who is working behind the scenes to employ a new replacement as soon as possible.

In a statement confirming the sack of Xavi, the club thanked the coach for his work while he was at the helm and wished the club legend the best in his future endeavours as a coach.

In the statement, Barca “thanked Xavi for his work as the head coach, which adds up to a unique path as a player and a team captain,” the text reads before saying that the club “wishes the best of luck.”
