Shehu Sani lists 5 ‘sins’ of the Buhari administration

Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his Twitter page to list five major sins committed by the immediate past administration of Muhammadu Buhari.

Sani, a former activist from Kaduna state, has been an ardent critic of Buhari after he defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress to the main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party.

He also accused Buhari of setting booby traps for his successor and incumbent Nigerian leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Listing the infractions in the Buhari administration, Sani wrote:

1) N16 trillion uncompleted projects

2) N3.8 trillion embezzled by the MDAs.

3) No money to pay the federal civil servants’ salaries, as rightly predicted by Governor Obaseki.

4) Buhari’s government illegally and directly withdrew money from the CBN; after spending the money, Buhari retroactively sought approval from the rubber stamp legislature and got it.

5) No money appropriated or left behind for subsidy.

Earlier, Sani accused Buhari of leaving behind a country without any economic direction.

He said the former president presided over a government that failed to secure the lives of Nigerians.

He also stated that the former president closed the nation’s borders for those who import bags of rice on motorcycles and permitted those who use the ships.

He further accused Buhari of turning London into his second home with his frequent medical trips to the city.

He added:

“He left behind a nation with 60 million people suffering from mental illnesses. He is leaving behind the health workers on strike. He set up traps for the next government in order to make his own look better.”
