Former Senator Shehu Sani has thrown jabs at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu following a photo of him sleeping that went viral.
The APC’s flagbearer appeared to be sleeping during a meeting designed for presidential aspirants for the forthcoming elections for their respective parties.

The accord meeting which was held in Abuja on Friday, December 20, 2023, was organized by former Head of state General Abdulsalami Abubakar, was aimed at ensuring proper conduct during the elections.
The Nigerian Tribune reported that Omoyele Sowore who was representing the Action Alliance alleged that Tinubu slept throughout the proceedings of the meeting.
Sani then took turns by shading the former Lagos state governor saying that he was having some silent prayer or sharing some philosophical thoughts.
The former senator representing Kaduna central in the 8th senate tweeted:
“When someone closes his eyes it’s not just for sleeping or napping. It might be for prayers or philosophical thinking. Asiwaju may be doing the latter.”
