After months of speculation, Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly confirmed his marriage to fiancee Chioma Rowland.
The musician confirmed his marital status in an interview with a skit maker, Kiekie, on Thursday, March 30. He also discussed his long musical break and a new project, ‘Timeless’.
He said:
“I have never ever taken this kind of break. Just being away and I have had a lot to think about. It was a time to rest, reflect, a lot of family time, time to make music again.
“I remade the album. Before I went on the break I actually had an album already. Had a tour already, but we did the album, I travelled, I am married.”

In another news, Singer Davido reportedly purchased a Lamborghini worth over 900 million naira days after he returned to social media.
On Instagram, a car dealer, Edikanexotics, shared a photo of the expensive ride with Davido’s popular slang ‘e choke’ on the number plate.
The singer had been away from social media for a couple of months after the sudden demise of his son, Ifeanyi. However, he bounced back a few days ago causing jubilations on social media by his fans and loved ones.
