Nigerian singer Tems has disclosed that she prefers to date men who can outsmart her.
Tems made the statement when answering questions from a presenter during the red-carpet session of an event.
The presenter commended the singer, saying that people find her attractive whenever she posts a picture online.
When asked what her kind of man would be, Tems said she is attracted to the intelligent type.
The musician, however, explained that her man doesn’t need to outsmart her in terms of knowledge.
“You have to be really smart, like you have to outsmart me and not necessarily in terms of knowledge, just in terms of life. Make me feel like I can’t manipulate you,” Tems stated with a smile.
The statement from the singer has attracted accolades from social media users who commended her for prioritising intelligent men.
“I love girls that like smart guys, it means they are smart too,” James stated.
Ajike said: “Same as me, I like smart men cos I am fucking smart myself.”
